![]() Wednesday, August 31, 2005 I'm doin it! Well ever so slowly, I'm getting back to normal. Monday, I did as I had planned. I had toast for breakfast. When the munchies came at work I had an apple, then a banana and then a low fat fruiche(good old dairy). Sandwich for lunch. Then I went for a walk. Yes you read that right. It was to see how far I could get in 30 mins or how fast I could go. In fact it was a pretty pathetic effort but I got my butt out and moving round for 30 mins. Then with tea I had a good serving of vegies. Must say was feeling a little better yesterday after my efforts eventhough my flu is actually getting worse. So yesterday I tried to work on spacing out my eating again. Before I got sick I was eating every 3 hours. So a typical day was breakfast at 7.30, snack of fruit at 10.30, lunch at 1.30, snack at 4.30, dinner somewhere between 5.30 and 6.30 then dessert before 7.30, at least 2 hours before bed. I did it that way to help my metabolism. So yesterday went well. Had breaky at 7.30. Started to get a bit woozy and lightheaded at 9.30 but struggled to hold out until 10.30 when I had a fruiche. Got home at 1.30 and had lunch, had a snack at 4.30, dinner at 6 and then dessert at 7ish. Unfortunately dessert consisted of 2 servings of WW Caramel Swirl Ice cream. I am just so addicted to it. So my eating could have been better but I am starting to reset my body clock anyhow. Today I have brought strawberries, watermelon and pear to work to snack on. We went out yesterday and stocked up on fruit. Am actually hanging out to eat it. So folks, I am getting back to normal, it is just going to take a lot of effort and patience, but I will get there.
